Minister
of the Week
The
Rev. Dr. Nancy Jay Crumbine is a Unitarian Univeralist minister, a
professor at Dartmouth College, a writer, an actor, and an old
shoaler. She has been theme speaker, minister of the week, and
staff of the Star Island RE Week for many years.
Nancy has
lectured widely at religious and education conferences, both in
the US and the UK. She was a speaker at the UU General Assembly in
Boston, 2003, was the Jeanne Blank Memorial Lecturer October 2003
at the Silver Bay UU Weekend, and in April 2005 gave the keynote
address, the Essex Hall Lecture, at the General Assembly of
British Unitarians in Chester, England.
In addition
to her speaking engagements, she has given workshops on writing,
spirituality, and creativity on Star Island, at the Nightingale
Center in Great Hucklow, England, in various churches in
Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Ohio, and New York, and in her home
state of Vermont.
She is the
author of the book, Humility,
Anger, and Grace, Meditations Toward a Life that Matters.
She
is delighted to be joining the Star Conference on the Arts in
June, 2008!
