Evening Activities

  • Barn Dance: A Sunday evening mixer with music, dance, and a bit of mayhem
  • Mid-Week Musical Performance
  • Poetry Reading: A time for sharing of words, thoughts, and inspirations from fellow conferees
  • Art Auction: Silent and live auctions of conferees’ artwork that includes paintings, prints, photographs, pottery, handcrafts and sculptures, jewelry, and more
  • Conferee Talent Show: There’s no end to the hidden talents on display!
  • Pel Show: The college-aged Pels are our daily helpers at Star – serving and cooking meals, cleaning rooms, caring for the grounds. But they always leave time to put on their special talent show!
  • Evening Chapel: Evening chapel is a special time of personal reflection and connection. Conferee-led, it is held in the chapel lit only by lamplight.
