on the hotel porch. Express your creativity and celebrate your uniqueness in a supportive
environment at the Conference on the Arts, a week-long adult conference is
held every year during the third week of June on beautiful Star Island in the historic Isles of Shoals.
Whether you
are a beginner or professional, an active participant or interested observer, the
Conference on the Arts provides a unique opportunity to develop your creative energies in
many fields of artistic endeavor. Morning workshops are offered in photography, visual
arts, writing, dance, drama and music. Afternoons are free for exploration of the island,
chorus, softball, music appreciation or porch sitting. Evening performances from guest
artists and candlelight chapel services round out the day's activities.
